Scottsdale is the perfect central hub for wine country excursions because it is located in between Arizona’s two main wine country locations. A short drive (1-2 hours) north or south will transport you to two unique but beautiful wine countries with some exciting and unique wine varietals exclusive to Arizona, as well as traditional varietals that are locally produced. Southern Arizona Wine Country

Pillsbury Wine has garnered much favor among foodies, wine-lovers, and the Arizona restaurant scene with its unique and delicious wine. Their vineyard is located in Willcox but they also have a tasting room in Northern Arizona wine country.
Northern Arizona Wine Country
The Verde Valley of Arizona (about 1.5 hours north of Scottsdale) is home to many great wineries, cooler temperatures, and some gorgeous scenery.
Page Springs Cellars is one of the most well-known wineries in northern Arizona. They make great small-batch wine that you can enjoy in their tasting room or bistro and you can also take a guided tour of their beautiful vineyard and even see how the bottling process works up closes.
AZ Stronghold Vineyards is another popular Northern Arizona vineyard that you should visit if you get the chance. With a focus on representing the Arizona terrain, their wines will not disappoint!
Javelina Leap Cellars is a family-owned boutique winery that produces many great varietals as well as unique blends. Visit and tour the winery, sip and learn in the tasting room, and enjoy delicious food with your wine in the bistro!
